Nvidia jumps into PCs with new Arm-based chip debuting in laptops from Microsoft, Dell, HP

NVIDIA's RTX Spark announcement at Computex 2026 represents a seismic shift in the PC industry. The GPU giant is now directly competing in the CPU market, using Arm architecture to challenge Intel and AMD's x86 dominance.

The move puts pressure on both incumbents. Intel has struggled to match Arm's power efficiency, while AMD's recent Ryzen AI mobile chips have shown strong integrated graphics — but neither can match an integrated RTX 5070-class GPU.
